SBHS is committed to providing the highest quality of individualized treatment based on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Our commitment begins with a thorough record review and comprehensive assessment process, which includes indirect interviews with family and stakeholders. We utilize a combination of comprehensive skills assessments, tailored to your child’s specific needs, to develop individualized and meaningful treatment goals. We then carefully select Registered Behavior Technicians for your team to ensure they are the best fit for your child, further promoting growth and development.
We continuously monitor data and make ongoing modifications to ensure that each individual makes progress that generalizes across all environments. Progress is consistently discussed with the individual, family, and stakeholders. This dedication to quality is what distinguishes SBHS from other providers in the area.

Why Home & Community Based vs. Center Based?
- Promotes naturalistic learning in your child’s home, daycare, or school environment, allowing them to maintain contact with peers that they’re familiar with.
- Promotes generalization of skills with all family and/or caregivers .
- Enables parents and caregivers direct observation of sessions, for transparency
- Services in your child’s daycare and school allow for access to increased ratios of peer models.

We are incredibly grateful for Kristen’s guidance as our son’s BCBA early in her career. Diagnosed just after his 2nd birthday, our son faced severe challenges, including self-injurious behaviors and limited language. Kristen developed a customized ABA program that integrated his behavior technician, speech pathologist, and Birth to 3 providers. This comprehensive approach, despite limited resources, helped our son make significant progress in just 8 months. Kristen also supported us as we transitioned him to a public preschool program and trained us to continue supporting him. Thanks to her expertise, our son is thriving, and we are forever thankful for her impact.”
